Big Poppa Gutridge
MODIFICATIONS:
This Is Big Poppa Gutridge 1993 Lightning, the Dad of Big Daddy Dwayne Gutridge.. I sent my Dads truck to have a complete paint job, remove the bed, new rollpan and quarters.. This 351W has a new Motorsport Block, a Custom 3.600 Stroke Crank, Eagle rods, and J/E Pistons.. ARP Head Studs and Main Studs, to keep internal in line... and yes we torque plate all engines..and also stress relieve all New Blocks. We installed a custom, but small HR Comp Cam and removed the standard Flat tappet cam, TW Heads, Motorsport 1.6 Rockers, and complete Bassani Exhaust, 42lb injectors, BDP Custom 95MM MAF,..
RESULTS:
This engine combo was Built for a Vortech Blower but we decided not to use it until after the winter has passed, didn't want to give Pop all that power at once. The dyno numbers were better than I expected without the blower.. 320RWHP@ 4700RPM and 381.39lbs ft tq@ 4200RPM without the Blower. This thing really roared on the dyno, factory numbers were only 240hp@4200 at the flywheel and 340lbs ft tq@3200... WOW stay tuned for Blower...Numbers
